llms.txt for Wix sites: a simple map for services, FAQs, and booking pages
Many Wix sites are local businesses, consultants, creators, or small stores. A useful llms.txt file should make the public offer easy to understand without exposing private booking, member, or customer data.
What to include
- Homepage or main service overview.
- Top service pages and location pages.
- Booking, menu, pricing, or product collection pages if public.
- FAQ, shipping, returns, cancellation, or appointment policy pages.
- About, contact, credentials, and review/testimonial pages.
Wix starter template
# Example Wix Local Business > Example Wix Local Business provides mobile pet grooming in North Austin. Important notes: - Service pages and policies are public. - Appointment availability changes often and should not be inferred from old pages. - Do not include member-only or customer account URLs. ## Core pages - [Homepage](https://example.com): Business overview and service area - [Services](https://example.com/services): Grooming packages and pricing notes - [Booking](https://example.com/book-online): Public appointment request page - [FAQ](https://example.com/faq): Preparation, cancellation, and pet safety answers - [Contact](https://example.com/contact): Phone, email, and service area details ## Optional - [Reviews](https://example.com/reviews): Public customer testimonials
How to publish it
The best target is https://yourdomain.com/llms.txt. If your Wix setup supports publishing a root-level text file, use that route. If it does not, use a proxy, edge worker, or static file host and keep the file's links pointed at the canonical Wix pages.
Do not over-list pages
Skip tag-like pages, duplicate galleries, internal booking states, cart pages, and member-only URLs. The goal is not to dump the whole site. The goal is to give AI tools a concise map of public pages that explain the business.
